It was meant to have snowed on Friday and Saturday at that height, so I was expecting a lot more.
There are often pockets of snow on the north slopes in the Cairngorms into the summer.
I was once out doing the traverse of the Black Mount in Glencoe - a long walk - on a blistering June day, and I ran out of water. On the slope at the end of the walk, as I came down to the ski centre, there was a patch of snow which was the most wonderful thing in the world - thirst quenching and cooling!
We were up at Ben Nevis last May (not climbing, just passing through Fort William) and it had loads of snow left on it. Hmm, also, when I did The Cobbler as a kid, in June, there were little pockets of snow on it.
