I said cream first because that's how I do them, but I only got 81%; I'm guessing my Dumnonian blood showing through there...

But how do you manage to plaster the jam on without the cream all squidging out all over the place?

Generally, I don't, as I don't actually like the things, but I spread the cream around then just dollop a lump of jam in the middle.

I care not how you're supposed to do it, I just prefer it that way if I have have them with cream.
