For reasons I don't fully understand, many of the people who sometimes look at my journal seem to be in love with the Mini. I don't share the obsession - it seems incredibly girly to like a car because it looks cute - but I did think you might be interested in this article from today's Independent: Mini Marvel: simply brilliant. Personally, I don't get the obsession either. And I'm female. ;)

I like my cars to be comfortable. If I want cramped discomfort, I'll go for a boat.

New mini = totally not cramped. <lj user = progmeister>, <ljuser = zantic> and me spent a happy day gallivanting around Ireland's north east in one and weren't stuck for space. And none of us is particularly waif-like!
