I had a shock today.

It was very - very - windy. I hadn't shut the flat's front door properly and, when one of my neighbors opened the door to the road, it blew open my door.

I found the door open. And I couldn't see Talisker. ANYWHERE. I dashed into the stairway, ran down the stairs, and, worried, into the street.

Not a sign.

I went back up to the flat, and once again searched.I couldn't find him anywhere. A bit desperate, I looked again. And I found Talisker hiding under the sofa, where he must have been the whole time...

Little cat didn't even know anything was wrong! When I lifted the cover of the sofa, he blinked, stretched, and went to look at the food bowl!

It is, I guess, what cats do, and I should not have been either surprised or worried!

Cats aren't stupid! Go out on a windy day? As if!

It was because it was so windy and he was, I think, a bit wound up by the wind that I was concerned!

How will we know he is safe and sound if you don't post a picture?

No theoretical limit to number of times this message can go out.

Given that I have a library of photos and could easily post old ones (as I have done here and in my post today), and I am no believer in "photos or it didn't happen" - repeat too often and you may find you just have to do with words.

There is one! My phone didn't show it. So previous comment not needed.

I was remarkably stressed! And very pleased when I found him.
