Guilt Trip
Jun. 16th, 2006 05:58 pmSo filling it out once, let alone twice, was a bit of an effort.
Plus, the source code seems to have disappeared (which only goes to prove that memes do have a shelf life…).
Plus, since everyone else in my f-list seems to have done it already, I have no-one else to tag – and the original code clearly stated “fill in all the blanks or it won’t work”. (This made me feel like Billy-no-mates, but stuff it.)
So here I shall do my best to come up with something in each category, but not in HTML. Just be aware that I don’t feel guilty about these pleasures… Life is too short!
- Culinary: double deckers. Because they are kind of kids’ chewy.
- Literary: not bothering to read the classics. Because – well, life really is too short. And they aren’t as good for you as everyone pretends.
- Audiovisual: The Archers. Because they are so middle England. And I am seriously addicted.
- Musical: Kylie Minogue. How can anyone resist “Confide In Me”, “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” and “Where The Wild Roses Grow”?
- Celebrity: Catherine Zeta Jones. Cleavage. (OK, perhaps I feel guilty about that one.)

Date: 2006-06-17 04:50 am (UTC)Culinary: not that many any more, because I've almost completely re-educated my palate, to the point where I hardly need to feel guilty.
I do like curry. And I'm addicted to taramasalata, which I don't think is particularly good for me. But mostly, no.
Literary: As for yours, but substitute literary fiction for classics. I quite like a lot of the classics.
Audiovisual: Well, Clarkson, obviously.
Musical: the 1980s. Wham, Duran Duran, Rick Astley. I'm sure that I could dredge even further if I wanted.
Celebrity: Tim Curry. And Dillie Keane, on whom I have had a crush since 1985.

Date: 2006-06-17 10:47 am (UTC)As for literary, "as for yours" clearly means "completely different"... ;)
I am with you on Wham and Duran Duran, plus most of the Stock-Aitken-Waterman back catalogue. Their self-released "Roadblock" is just brilliant. I can still remember most of the words to Wham! Rap (job or no job...) - oh god, I'm stuck in an eighties time warp! Back to the Tardis!
And did I ever tell you I saw the original Rocky Horror Show - with Tim Curry?
