BBC radio news has just announced that Fred Goodwin will resign from RBS tomorrow.

I have no idea whether this is good news or not.

I think none of us know how to interpret any of this kind of news these days.

Although this is a bit closer to home - I used to work for RBS, know a lot of people still there, and the economy of Edinburgh is likely to be affected one way or another.

Well over 20% of the Edinburgh population are employed in the financial sector, it's a bit of a concern.

I don't think that one of the key figures in the making of RBS as it is today leaving the organisation is such a good thing.
