Suddenly, autumn has come to Edinburgh. The leaves have been falling since August, but this week we had some beautiful days, the clear autumn deep blue skies offsetting the golden and crimson leaves.

The skies this last week have been beautiful. I (try to) always carry my small pocket camera with me, and on Monday the light whilst I was walking to and from where I am working at the moment was intense and beautiful; I took many pictures, and when the next morning was the smae - or perhaps even more intense - I took my SLR to work, too.

The Moon on Monday was very beautiful, and it was still there on Tuesday morning.

But of course it was the buildings I noticed most.

I'm working down by the docks in Leith. There are amazing views of the Edinburgh skyline from the top of the car park at Ocean Terminal, but the light facing south was too strong: the city looked washed out.

The docks, though, looked beautiful, creating reflections in the water that I just loved.

One of the websites at the entrepreneurs pitch evening was www.groopit.com, which allows to organise meetings and book tickets and things.

On Friday, someone I'm working with mentioned Meet-O-Matic. This also allows you to organise meetings - more for commercial than social occasions - and it seems to be pretty good.

I just thought you might find it useful.

I am writing this as Scotland are playing Argentina in the rugby world cup. Argentina are winning, but Scotland are fighting back. I have a whisky in my hand, and a couple in my stomach.

And I am wondering about being a fan.
