Spirit - Chinese spring lantern festival

rhythmaningLast night, I went for a walk in the Botanics: there was a special installation to commemorate the Chinese sprint, called Spirit. The installation was by NVA, who work in light: I have read about their work in the glens and hills of Scotland, and have been very interested.

anonymouseth that got me to go to Spirit, though – for which I am very grateful.
I was excited by going. It was a clear cold night, and there was something very special about walking in the gardens in the dark – I can’t remember doing that before.
It was a beautiful experience – I loved the way the light transformed the glasshouses.
