[livejournal.com profile] frankie_ecap reminded me that I hadn't posted pictures I took of the University of East London Docklands Campus; she had insisted that I go there because she thought the buildings looked like the kind of things I like to take photographs of, and she was right. It was a cold, clear day with crystal blue skies; the buildings form lots of abstract looking curves. Designed (a quick search on the internet tells me...) by Edward Cullinan Architects, it was a fascinating place. I didn't take too many pictures, though, because my hands got cold. Really cold.

Oh, gorgeous. I want to have these all framed in bright colours and put them up on the wall at Foxtrot Road.

It does look amazing, architecturally. And a bit like some of the newer and funkier bits of my old university (the older parts were mostly late-Sixties concrete, although that too had its charms, believe it or not).

Great set of pictures (and just the type that I love taking)

Yes, I can see that! I do like the way it is possible to move towards abstraction (though put like that, it sounds a bit poncey...).
