rhythmaningLast week I included a little snippet in some meme or other about how I had spent several weeks up a mountian called Lupanga in the Uluguru Mountains of Tanzania.
Interestingly, the Uluguru Mountains have been identified in today's Independent as being one of the Earth's "final frontiers".
And I have been there!

It is interesting that they focus on the degree of endemism in bird and plant life; I would have thought that New Caledonia has many more endemic plant species, both in number and as a percentage. Been there, too.
