You may have seen this ad; I saw it a couple of weeks ago in the cinema, and loved it, and it was on during the rugby world cup on British tv on Saturday.

But [livejournal.com profile] fiendish_cat and [livejournal.com profile] frankie_ecap haven't seen it.

This story in the Independent describes how it was made.

Myself, I really love the whale.

It's clever but it's crap as an advertisement.

Well, it might not get me buying a tv (since I'm not in the market for a tv!), but it's got me talking about it!

Although any advert for a colour tv playing on tv always seems a bit useless to me - because it can only look as good as the existing tv.
