Harvest Moon
Oct. 1st, 2007 10:54 pmWalking home from the cinema, I saw the Moon from Dean Bridge; it was large and coppery, low over Leith. I stood and watched it for several minutes, causing people walking past to stop and see what I was looking at.
I tried to take pictures of it with my little pocket camera, but – no surprise – they didn’t come out.
Undaunted, I went home, picked up my SLR and a tripod, and walked back to the bridge. Higher now, perhaps less emphatic without the roofs to accentuate its size, I tried again.
