Curiously, in standard Myers-Briggs Type Indicator tests, I come out on the cusp between ENTP and ENTJ (I can never remember which is my preference!).

Ahh...the sweet serenity. The utter perfection of all creation. The wondrous beauty of nature. The sweet sparrow singing along in the great orchestra we call life... WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? You're the type of person people always love to mock because they don't believe there's anyone ACTUALLY like you. Do realise that you ostracise people with your behaviour or is it all subconscious? I used to be a fairly solid ENTJ, but this is where I am at the moment (got this on another test recently, too). From this I deduce that Myers-Briggs personality constructs are not stable.

I found that - there's a lot of questions where the answer depends on my mood. I can deal easily with strangers at parties if I can be bothered . So I answered yes, because I can do it, I just don't feel obliged to do it at every party...

I couldn't make it through. The anguish of being given the choice of only two answers of which neither of which were right was too much for me.

I tried picking answers at random, since generally both choices were equally true, but broke down under the strain of incorrect answers halfway through. I'll try it again later with my eyes closed. :)

I believe they are meant to be pretty stable, but they seem to move around a little.

I have done MBTI tests three times - four years between each. On two axes, I score very heavily at one end; for the other two, I am pretty much balanced between the two extremes, and kind of bounce around a little - there is very little in it.

I think it does also depend on what one is engaged in doing (in general), too - environment can make one prefer to behave in certain ways.

Yes, I absolutely agree. In that regard I'm sure the outcome is partly a function of state, rather than just trait (so again, not madly stable*).

People hate you. Paris Hilton hates Nicole Richie. Lex Luther hates Superman. Garfield hates Mondays. But none these even rates against the insurmountable hate, people have for you. I mean, you're pretty damn clever and you know it. You love to flaunt your potential. Heard the word "arrogant" lately? How about "jerk?" Or perhaps they only say that behind your back. That's right. I know I can say this cause you're not going to cry. You're not exactly the most emotional person. You'd rather spend time with your theoretical questions and abstract theories than with other people. Ever been kissed? Ever even been on a date? Trust me, your inflated ego is a complete turnoff with the opposite sex and I am telling you, you're not that great with relationships as it is.
