I was just looking at these on Flickr. It's really interesting 'watching' you play with the images. I think the b&w ones are probably my faves. I'm such a pushover for high contrast b&w. The pinky/brown one in the centre of the bottom row also appeals - mysterious in a romantic rather than threatening way.
I tend not to mess about with photographs too much - though I almost always increase the contrast. Most of these just have the contrast cranked right up. It is fascinating that the original colour pics seemed to lose nothing when turned into black and white - they were already grey; but when the contrast is increased radically, all these colours appear.
