Interesting to get the two perspectives! I wonder if pshatku will post a review as well? OT (kinda) and I'm not sure if I've asked you this before, but have you read Lawrence Donegan's No News At Throat Lake? He ended up in my part of the world and managed to capture its quirkiness quite nicely.
