The Weekend.

I was away for the weekend. In a house with kittens. Which were very cute.

I drove one of the kittens to its new home on Sunday, a round trip of about 150 miles; I drove back the full length of Loch Awe, 25 miles down a twisting, turning single track road of absolute beauty. I am very lucky to live in such a beautiful country (though a long way from Yosemite...!).

How is Talisker?

To be honest, I'm a little worried about Talisker. He's been quite clingy since I got back from my weekend, which is normal, and has been quite vocal. I think he may be under the weather, though nothing specifically seems wrong (I prodded and poked. He thought I was playing....).

If he continues in much the same vein, I'll take him to the vet. But I've not had an ill cat before, so I don't really know.

And he seems absolutely fine now! So I'll leave it for a day or two. (I might just be paranoid!)

May just be that he missed you - Fox is often a bit funny for a couple of days when we're away. As long as he's eating I try not to worry too much, but vets are usually quite good at giving advice over the phone.

I was just thinking I should have mentioned that his appetite us completely undiminished!

And I was about to post some photos here, but I think I'll make it a separate post...
