People seems to like cats; I do, and my wife does. Our cats are really hers, however much I stroke them or let them scratch me.

My wife spoils the cats.

She told me yesterday that she had bought each of them Christmas presents. Then she told me she had actually wrapped their presents up. (I think that the cats might have more fun with the wrapping paper than with the presents.) And then she told me that the cats were sending Christmas cards – well, one – to me.

Our cats have writing ability well ahead of their age group.

My cat (well, the cat that stays with me) will get a catnip mouse for Christmas, so that has to be wrapped up. My dog will get a better class of left-overs than usual...

I know, it's great fun to watch. But you have to wrap the present really well (i.e. vacumn pack it) or you end up with a shredded parcel...
