rhythmaningI read the Economist each week. One of the things I like about it is the irreverential captions it gives to photographs.
Beneath a picture of Badri Patarkatsishvili (and try typing that after a bottle of wine!), a Georgian billionaire who died in somewhat mysterious circumstances this week, they produce the caption: “Georgia on his mind”.
And beneath a picture of John McCain – a rather good picture, showing him (I think) standing by a helicopter or a jet fighter, with painted symbols on the aircraft saying “Warning!” and “Rescue!” – they have the caption “Conflicting signals for McCain”.
