The bit she referred to, and really, really makes sense, was:

John D. Hutson, a retired admiral and law school dean, was at the signing ceremony “He really gets it,” Mr. Hutson said of Mr. Obama in an interview a few minutes after the ceremony. “He acknowledged that this isn’t easy. But he is absolutely dedicated to getting us back on track as a nation. This is the right thing to do morally, diplomatically, militarily and Constitutionally. But it also makes us safer.”

The right thing to do. And safer.

That's the thing: the previous administration never got that all the things they were doing were making our 'enemies' more angry at us, not making us safer. They were, in fact, making them into our enemies.

I smile every single time I hear "President Obama" on the radio or TV. :)

As you must have seen, I can't stop smiling, either. And he isn't even my president!

I saw that, and it made me smile, too. I'm glad that people in other countries are as happy as we are about the situation. :)
