I recently came across the Periodic Table of Videos from the University of Nottingham (via The Obvious?).
They are quite interesting - and it is a great idea. One of the presenters - Professor Martin Poliakoff - is a little too much like the archetypical science professor: he has big hair - which gets a great deal bigger between silver and magnesium. I looked at magnesium first, in the hope of seeing things explode. Which they do!
