More small world connections
Aug. 11th, 2009 11:15 amI was listening to the radio this morning - nothing unusual about that - even half-listening, since I was doing something else (playing on the computer) at the same time.
The programme I was half listening to was Bluestockings, the story and history of women's experience at British universities in the 19th century.
It was only at the end of the programme that I realised it was written by an old friend of mine, who was at university with me.
So of course I googled her name, found an article about her and her book on TimesOnline which said which city she lived in, went to Facebook, plugged in her name and city, and hers was the first entry on the page.
Sometimes it feels like a really small world!
