I have been back in London a month or so now, and I have spent a fair bit of time walking up and down Whitehall. Which is when I took these pictures.

Edinburgh in April

I spent my last Sunday in Edinburgh taking photographs; I was walking down to drink whisky in Leith and it was a gorgeous day. I only had my pocket camera with me, since I hadn't anticipated taking photographs, but it was so beautiful I couldn't help it. I took a lot.

From innerbrat: American soldiers who are gay, and a handwritte

innerbrat has been writing about a US soldier who was fired for coming out. Her latest post has a link to a copy of a handwritten note from Barack Obama to another gay soldier.

It is several weeks since the very mention of Obama made me smile - but it's happening all over again. I love the guy.
