It is beautiful.
Often, though, it rains. And rains! The water streams off the hills, which can attract thick, dark fog.
And getting up the hills is quite hard work!
The whole of the west coast, from Kintyre north to Cape Wrath, is just wonderful. Full of sadness, but full of beauty, too.
