I have been away.

I am back.

Some time, I'll actually get around to writing about all the things* I want to write about.

Some time.

*I wrote "thongs" instead of "things". That made me laugh.

hello Mr Rhythm. Can you tell me about nice restaurants with rooms in Scotland please?

While you're at it, do you know any good thongs to thing?

I can do that too -

Crinan Hotel - Knapdale (Mull of Kintyre) - great sunsets, wonderful sea food straight from the fishing boats, good wandering country

Babbity Bowsters - Glasgow - Boutique - Great atmosphere, handy for the Merchant City, pub on the ground floor has open fires and lots of malts

The Witchery - Edinburgh - bit of a cliche now, but Royal Mile location, great atmosphere - think it has rooms as one of my friends claims to have been kidnapped and dragged off to them by mysterious (if short-sighted) blonde

"Thing, thing a thong, thing out loud, thing out long"

My reply in your journal made the assumption you were thinking of somewhere in the country!

[livejournal.com profile] f4f3's suggestion of the witchery in Edinburgh comes very highly recommended. Apparently the rooms are the most romantic in Edinburgh! We tried to book it for our wedding night, but it was booked up... The food at the Witchery is very, very good.

The Babbity Bowster is my favourite Glasgow pub.

"mysterious ... blonde".

Well, there's at least 222 of them...
