Cricket. The horror, the horror.
I woke up in the middle of the night - well, 4.30am - and unable to get back to sleep, I switched on the radio and heard the score from Brisbane; it was tea, and Clarke was just out: 528 for 8.
I reckoned Australia would all be out for 600 or so, and that would be it for the day. At worst, England would just have to bat out the last hour - not too much to ask.
I fell asleep.
I woke up at 6.30am to find that Australia declared at 602 for 9; and that England were 53 for 3 - I'll just run that by you again - 53 for 3.
Jeez.
